Penn State Mont Alto faculty will discuss the power and perils of fashion and electric cars, plus the life-saving potential of leadership, during the 2020 Spring Evening Talk and Star Party Series.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon missions, Richard L. Lesher will present a Penn State Mont Alto Evening Talk at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 in the General Studies Auditorium about his personal experience while working for NASA. Weather permitting, a Star Party will follow, led by Kimberly Herrmann, Penn State Mont Alto assistant professor in astronomy and physics.
During Penn State Mont Alto’s spring 2019 Evening Talk and Star Party Series, faculty and staff will share their experiences and expertise in a diverse collection of topics, from immunotherapy to rabbit husbandry and music. The talks, set for Feb. 6, March 13 and April 3, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the General Studies Auditorium and are free of charge and open to the public.
Penn State Mont Alto will host a new “Evening Talk and Star Party” series during fall 2016. Each event will begin at 7:30 p.m. with an instructor sharing his or her expertise in the General Studies Auditorium with light refreshments. Weather permitting, a star party, led by Penn State Mont Alto Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy Kim Herrmann, will follow in the field behind the Multipurpose Activities Center.
