Penn State Mont Alto will host its final Colloquy Series talk of the spring semester on April 10, when Associate Teaching Professor of Forest Technology Elizabeth Brantley will lead a tour of the Penn State Mont Alto Arboretum during a farewell reception in her honor.

Handel's Messiah

How Handel wrote 'Messiah' is topic of Evening Talk

On April 3, the Evening Talk Series at Penn State Mont Alto will feature “The True Story of How and Why Handel Wrote ‘Messiah.’” The talk will be presented by William (Bill) Rolar, lecturer in music, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the General Studies Auditorium on the Mont Alto campus. If weather permits, a Star Party will follow.

Startup Week challenges to showcase entrepreneurs and change makers

Entrepreneurs across the University will pitch their business ideas and create inventive solutions to common problems through a series of competitions and challenges held during Penn State Startup Week from April 1-5. The challenges are at the heart of Startup Week’s mission of teaching and inspiring participants to make innovation a part of their lives, communities and careers, either by starting their own companies or bringing a problem-solving approach to established organizations.
