The Mont Alto LaunchBox is offering free workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs on and off campus this spring. They are open to the public and free of charge. Participants are encouraged to register at montalto.fc-daudenzell.com/launchbox/workshops.
Student food insecurity has been an increasing concern on the Mont Alto Campus for some time. Staff and faculty have related stories of students coming to class inquiring about available free snacks because they did not or could not eat breakfast or lunch.

The Mont Alto LaunchBox, a program to support entrepreneurs in Franklin County, will host its inaugural Entrepreneurship Fall Forum from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. on Nov. 14 in the Wiestling Student Center on Penn State Mont Alto’s campus. The forum will feature Penn State students Shevy Karbasi and Jobe Matula, who have developed their own business ideas and acquired early-stage funding to help develop their products. The forum is open to all aspiring business entrepreneurs at no charge.
